Rieko Sakurai is going to participate in a group exhibition titled “Unique Commons” held at Nogoya University of Art which begins on August 17th. The exhibition is a partnership event of “Aichi Triennale 2010”. Sakurai will exhibit 6 new pieces of paintings titled “Rainbow series”.

Ai Haibara will exhibit her new sculptures at ART TAIPEI via a Taiwanese gallery, Butchart International. It is held between August 20th and 24th at Taipei World Trade Center.
From August 25th to September 15th, a group show consisted of Japanese artists begins at IHN Gallery in Seoul. From our gallery Ryoko Kato, Tomoaki Ichikawa, Kenichi Yokono and Ai Haibara are going to participate in this exhibition. Other cooperated galleries are Tokyo Gallery, Tomio Koyama Gallery and Yamamoto Gendai.

Minami Komori and Tomohiro Takagi's exhibition · Jun 14
Komori Minami‘s solo exhibition, titled “KASABUT STRIP”, has just begun. The tiltle means taking off a slough. In other words, the artist tries to come back to her first style which would depict her inner image freely. So you will see more drawing-ike works compared to her past ones at this exhibition. Still you will notice stronger lines and colors, simpler construction in them. You might say that those works look like (as though) some Japanese traditional paintings. We are not against you. lol!
